Pushyabhuti Dynasty

The Pushyabhuti Dynasty, also known as the Vardhana Dynasty, was an influential royal family that ruled parts of northern India from the 6th to 7th centuries CE. Founded by King Pushyabhuti, the dynasty is best known for its most celebrated ruler, Harsha Vardhana, who united much of northern India and promoted trade, culture, and Buddhism. Harsha was also known for his patronage of arts and his efforts to support education. The dynasty declined after his death, but it played a significant role in shaping the political and cultural landscape of India during its time.
