Pulse-Echo Techniques

Pulse-echo techniques in ultrasound involve sending short bursts of sound waves (pulses) into the body. These sound waves travel through tissues and bounce back (echo) when they encounter different materials, like organs or fluids. A machine detects these echoes and measures the time it takes for them to return. This information is then used to create images of the inside of the body, helping healthcare professionals diagnose and monitor various medical conditions. Essentially, it's a way of "seeing" inside the body using sound, without the need for invasive procedures.
