Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is an Indian government initiative aimed at providing financial support to small and marginal farmers. Launched in 2019, it offers ₹6,000 per year, distributed in three installments, to help cover farming expenses and improve livelihoods. The program targets farmers with less than two hectares of land, helping to reduce their financial burdens and enhance agricultural productivity. By directly transferring funds to beneficiaries’ bank accounts, the scheme aims to promote economic stability in rural areas and strengthen the agricultural sector.
