Postdoctoral Research

Postdoctoral research, often called a "postdoc," is a position scientists or scholars pursue after earning their doctoral degree (Ph.D.). During this time, they work on advanced research projects to deepen their expertise, develop new skills, and contribute original findings to their field. It allows them to expand their knowledge, refine their methods, and prepare for careers in academia, industry, or other research roles. Typically lasting from one to several years, a postdoc is an important step in establishing an independent research career and building a professional reputation.
