Poliziano (Angelo Ambrogini)

Poliziano, whose real name was Angelo Ambrogini, was an influential Italian humanist and poet of the Renaissance, living from 1454 to 1494. He was renowned for his mastery of Latin and Greek literature, as well as for his poetry and scholarly works that combined classical knowledge with contemporary themes.
