Platonic Year
The Platonic Year, also known as the Great Year, is the period it takes for the Earth’s spiral axis and the orientation of the entire solar system to complete a full cycle relative to the distant stars. This cycle, driven by gradual shifts in Earth's axial tilt and precession of the equinoxes, takes approximately 26,000 years. During this time, the position of the stars and the relationship of the Sun to the constellations change slowly over millennia. The concept originates from ancient Greek philosophy and astrology, symbolizing a cosmic cycle of alignment and renewal.
