Plan of San Luis Potosí
The Plan of San Luis Potosí was a political manifesto issued in 1910 by Francisco I. Madero, calling for the overthrow of Mexican dictator Porfirio Díaz. It declared Diaz's government illegitimate, urged Mexicans to resist and rebel, and set the stage for the Mexican Revolution. Madero's plan inspired widespread protests and armed uprisings, eventually leading to Díaz’s resignation and the beginning of efforts to establish democratic reforms in Mexico. It remains a significant document symbolizing resistance against dictatorship and the fight for political change.
