Plan of Ayala
The "Plan of Ayala" was a political statement written by Emiliano Zapata in 1911 during the Mexican Revolution. It called for land reforms, demanding that land be returned to peasants and farmers who had been unfairly dispossessed by wealthy landowners. Zapata emphasized the need for social justice and resistance against those who exploited the poor. Essentially, the plan was a declaration for redistributing land to help the rural poor and to fight against corruption and inequality in Mexico. It became a rallying cry for the revolutionary movement seeking land rights and social equity.
