Pinnipedia

Pinnipedia is a group of marine mammals that includes seals, sea lions, and walruses. They are characterized by their flippers, which make them excellent swimmers. Pinnipeds have a streamlined body shape and typically spend a lot of time in the water, where they hunt for fish and other marine life. They are found in various ocean environments around the world, often resting on beaches or ice. Pinnipedia consists of three main families: Phocidae (true seals), Otariidae (sea lions and fur seals), and Odobenidae (walruses), each with unique adaptations for their aquatic lifestyles.
