Phrynidae

Phrynidae is a family of arachnids known as whipscorpions or tailless whip scorpions. These creatures resemble scorpions but lack a tail and stinger. They are usually small, with elongated, slender bodies and long, whip-like legs that help them sense their environment. Phrynidae are primarily nocturnal predators, feeding on small invertebrates, and are found in leaf litter, under stones, or in soil. Despite their intimidating appearance, they are harmless to humans and play a role in controlling pest populations in their ecosystems.
