PHE (Public Health England)

Public Health England (PHE) was a government agency in the UK focused on improving public health and protecting people from health threats. It worked to prevent diseases, promote healthy lifestyles, and support local health initiatives. PHE conducted research, provided health advice, and partnered with other organizations to address public health challenges. In 2021, PHE was replaced by the UK Health Security Agency and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities, which continue its mission to safeguard and improve the health of the nation.
