Perimeter
Perimeter is the total distance around the outside of a two-dimensional shape, like a rectangle, triangle, or circle. It’s similar to measuring the length of a fence needed to enclose a yard or garden. To find the perimeter, you add up the lengths of all the sides of the shape. For example, if a rectangle has sides of 4 meters and 6 meters, its perimeter is (4 + 6 + 4 + 6) = 20 meters. Perimeter is a useful measure in various real-world applications, such as fencing, landscaping, or framing.
