Perception and Cognition
Perception is how we interpret sensory information from the world around us, while cognition involves the processes of thinking, understanding, and learning. In constructivism, people build their knowledge through experiences and interactions, suggesting that understanding is subjective and personal. Relativism, on the other hand, posits that knowledge is context-dependent and can vary based on individual perspectives. Both ideas emphasize that our understanding of reality is shaped by our experiences and the meanings we attach to them, rather than being a direct reflection of an objective world.
