PDSA Cycle
The PDSA Cycle stands for Plan-Do-Study-Act, a method for testing and improving processes. First, you plan a change by setting goals and deciding how to try it. Next, you implement the change on a small scale (Do). Then, you observe and analyze the results (Study) to see if it worked as intended. Finally, based on what you've learned, you decide whether to adopt the change, modify it, or abandon it (Act). This cycle is repeated continuously to make ongoing improvements in a systematic and controlled way.
