Partnership for Peace (PfP)
The Partnership for Peace (PfP) is a NATO initiative launched in 1994 to foster collaboration with non-member countries in Europe and beyond. It aims to build trust, improve military transparency, and promote stability by encouraging joint training, exercises, and democratic reforms. PfP does not guarantee NATO membership but helps partner nations align their defense efforts with Western standards, enhancing security for all. It serves as a framework for dialogue and cooperation, supporting peaceful conflict resolution and reducing the likelihood of regional instability.
