Paris Gun

The Paris Gun was a German artillery weapon used during World War I to target Paris from thousands of meters away. It was essentially a super long-range cannon that could fire shells over 120 kilometers (around 75 miles), much farther than normal artillery. Launched from a mobile platform, the gun used a massive barrel and advanced engineering to propel shells at high speeds. Despite its impressive range, it was slow to reload and caused limited damage. Its primary purpose was psychological warfare, aimed at terrorizing civilians and demonstrating German technological prowess.
