Pantheism and Panentheism
Pantheism is the belief that God and the universe are identical; everything in existence is a manifestation of the divine. In this view, God is not a separate entity but is found in all things. Panentheism, on the other hand, posits that God encompasses the universe but also transcends it. Here, God is greater than the universe and includes it within a larger divine reality. While both views see the divine in the world, pantheism sees them as one and the same, whereas panentheism sees God as both immanent (within) and transcendent (beyond).
