Pantera
Pantera was an influential American heavy metal band formed in 1981, known for pioneering the groove metal subgenre. Originating from Arlington, Texas, the band consisted of vocalist Phil Anselmo, guitarist Dimebag Darrell, bassist Rex Brown, and drummer Vinnie Paul. Their aggressive sound combined elements of thrash metal and Southern rock, leading to popular albums like "Vulgar Display of Power" and "Far Beyond Driven." Despite disbanding in 2003, Pantera's music continues to inspire countless artists and fans within the heavy metal community.
