Pakistan Military Academy

The Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) is the premier training institution for the Pakistan Army, located in Kakul, near Abbottabad. Established in 1952, it prepares future military leaders through rigorous academic and physical training. Cadets undergo a comprehensive program lasting about two years, focusing on military tactics, leadership, and discipline. The PMA also fosters camaraderie and a sense of duty. Upon graduation, cadets are commissioned as officers in the Army. The academy's motto, "Iman, Taqwa, Jihad," emphasizes faith, righteousness, and struggle, reflecting the values instilled in its future leaders.
