Painter's techniques
Painter’s techniques refer to the various methods and styles artists use to create their work. Common techniques include brushwork, where paint is applied with brushes to build texture and form; glazing, which involves layering thin, transparent colors for depth; and impasto, where paint is applied thickly to create a three-dimensional effect. Other techniques include scumbling, which creates a soft, diffused effect by lightly brushing on a layer of color, and underpainting, where an initial layer outlines the composition before adding color. Each technique impacts the mood, texture, and visual interest of a painting.
