Osteoblastic Lesions

Osteoblastic lesions are areas in the bone where there is abnormal growth of new bone tissue, typically caused by certain types of cancer, such as prostate cancer or some breast cancers. These lesions appear denser or whiter on imaging tests like X-rays or CT scans because of increased bone formation. They can weaken the bone over time and may cause pain or fractures. Detecting and understanding osteoblastic lesions helps doctors diagnose underlying health issues and plan appropriate treatments.
