Osmanlı İmparatorluğu

The Osmanlı İmparatorluğu (Ottoman Empire) was a vast and influential state that existed from around 1299 to 1922, centered in modern-day Turkey. It was founded by Osman I and expanded to control parts of Southeast Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa. Known for its military prowess, sophisticated administration, and rich culture, it played a key role in global trade and diplomacy for centuries. The empire was a multicultural society with diverse religions and ethnicities, governed by a sultans’ leadership. Its decline in the 19th and early 20th centuries culminated in the formation of the modern Republic of Turkey.
