Orthodox theological concepts
Orthodox Christian theology emphasizes the belief in one God, who exists as Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coessential and eternal. It teaches that Jesus Christ is both fully divine and fully human, revealing God's love and offering salvation. Salvation is seen as a process of growing in union with God through prayer, worship, and living a moral life, guided by the Holy Spirit. The church is viewed as the divine community, continuing Christ’s presence on earth. Emphasis is placed on tradition, sacraments, and the mystical experience of God's grace, fostering a personal yet communal relationship with the divine.
