Original Sin
Original Sin is a Christian concept referring to the state of human nature inherited from the first humans, Adam and Eve, who disobeyed God. This disobedience introduced a fundamental tendency toward selfishness and separation from God into all of humanity. It’s not a personal sin committed by individuals later in life but rather a condition that affects all people from birth. Many Christians believe that this fallen state requires divine reconciliation, often through faith and grace, to restore the relationship with God and overcome the effects of original sin.
