Oregon Legislature

The Oregon Legislature is the lawmaking body of the state of Oregon. It consists of two houses: the Oregon House of Representatives and the Oregon Senate. The House has 60 members, while the Senate has 30. Legislators propose, debate, and vote on bills that affect the state's policies, budget, and laws. The Legislature meets annually, usually for a session that lasts around five months.
