Oplan Tokhang

Oplan Tokhang is a Philippine law enforcement campaign aimed at reducing illegal drug activities. It involves police officers visiting the homes of suspected drug users and small-scale dealers to encourage them to stop their involvement and seek help. The name "Tokhang" is a combination of two Filipino words: "toktok" (knock) and "hangyo" (plead). The approach emphasizes community engagement and persuasion rather than immediate force, with the goal of promoting awareness, rehabilitation, and crime reduction through personal dialogue and support.
