Oocyte donation

Oocyte donation is a process where a woman (the donor) provides her eggs for use in assisted reproductive technologies, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). This is often done when another woman (the recipient) is unable to produce healthy eggs due to various reasons, such as age or medical conditions. The donated eggs are fertilized with sperm in a lab, and the resulting embryos can be implanted in the recipient's uterus.
