OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing)
OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing) is a protocol used in wireless mesh networks to efficiently find and maintain routes between devices. It periodically shares information about network connections with other nodes, allowing each device to create a map of the network topology. OLSR is optimized to reduce unnecessary message exchanges by using techniques like selecting certain nodes to relay information (multipoint relays). This results in faster, more reliable data transmission, especially in dynamic or decentralized networks, making it suitable for situations like disaster recovery, military operations, or community networks.
