Old Faithful

Old Faithful is a famous geyser located in Yellowstone National Park, known for its regular and predictable eruptions. It works because underground chambers trap heated water from the Earth's geothermal heat. When pressure builds up enough, the water is forcefully expelled through the Earth's surface, creating a spectacular eruption of hot water and steam that lasts several minutes. Its eruptions occur approximately every 90 minutes, making it one of the most predictable natural phenomena on Earth. Old Faithful showcases Earth's geothermal activity and the dynamic processes occurring beneath the surface.
