Ogbunigwe
Ogbunigwe was a deadly weapon used during Nigeria’s Biafran Civil War in the late 1960s. Originally developed by Biafran scientists, it was an improvised explosive device designed for guerrilla warfare. It took various forms, including mines, bombs, and rockets, and was used to defend Biafra against Nigerian forces. The name "Ogbunigwe" translates to "mass killer" or "death machine" in the Igbo language. While a symbol of Biafran ingenuity and resistance, it also caused significant destruction and loss of life during the conflict.
