Official Language
An official language is a language designated by a government for administrative and governmental functions, such as legislation, court proceedings, and official documentation. It helps ensure clear communication within a country’s institutions and often reflects the country’s cultural or historical identity. Countries can have one or multiple official languages. While an official language is used in official contexts, people may speak many other languages in daily life. It does not necessarily mean that everyone must speak it, but it established the language for official business and national identity purposes.
