Occlusion therapy

Occlusion therapy is a treatment used to improve vision when one eye is weaker or "lazy" (amblyopia). It involves covering the stronger eye with a patch or special glasses to encourage the weaker eye to work harder and develop better visual skills. By doing so, the brain begins to rely more on the weaker eye, strengthening its connection and improving overall vision. This therapy is typically used under eye care specialist guidance and duration varies based on individual needs. It’s a common, effective approach to help restore balanced vision in children and sometimes adults.
