Obsessive Behavior
Obsessive behavior involves persistent, unwanted thoughts, urges, or mental images that cause distress or anxiety. These thoughts often lead individuals to perform repetitive actions or mental routines, known as compulsions, to reduce their discomfort. While common to a degree, when these behaviors become frequent, intense, or interfere with daily life, they may indicate an anxiety-related condition called Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Such behaviors are driven by an uncontrollable need for order, symmetry, or fear of harm, and often require professional treatment to manage effectively.
