NuSTAR

NuSTAR, or the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, is a space-based observatory that observes the universe in high-energy X-ray light. Unlike visible light telescopes, it can detect the most energetic processes, such as black hole activity, supernova remnants, and neutron stars. Equipped with advanced mirrors and detectors, NuSTAR provides detailed images and spectra, helping scientists understand extreme cosmic phenomena. Operating in the energy range of 3 to 79 keV, it offers new insights into high-energy astrophysics that are inaccessible from the ground due to Earth's atmosphere, contributing significantly to our knowledge of the universe's most powerful and mysterious objects.
