The Nuragic civilization thrived on the Italian island of Sardinia from around 1500 to 500 BCE. It is best known for its distinctive stone towers called nuraghes—conical structures used for defense, settlement, or religious purposes. The society was advanced in metallurgy, agriculture, and trade, developing complex social and religious practices. Nuragic people built impressive architecture and crafted intricate bronze and gold objects. Their unique culture reflects a rich prehistoric heritage with lasting archaeological remains that offer insights into their craftsmanship, societal organization, and spiritual life.
