Nuclear Matter
Nuclear matter refers to the substance composed primarily of protons and neutrons, which are the building blocks of atomic nuclei. It exists under extreme conditions, such as the dense core of neutron stars or during high-energy nuclear reactions. In these environments, protons and neutrons interact through nuclear forces, creating a dense, strongly interacting medium. Studying nuclear matter helps scientists understand the fundamental properties of nuclear interactions, the behavior of matter under extreme pressures and densities, and the processes occurring in stellar objects and nuclear physics experiments.
