November Revolution

The November Revolution was a political upheaval in Germany in 1918 that led to the end of the German Empire and the monarchy. Faced with military defeat in World War I, widespread unrest, and economic hardship, workers and soldiers organized strikes and protests. This pressure forced Kaiser Wilhelm II to abdicate, and a new democratic government, the Weimar Republic, was established. The revolution marked the transition from imperial rule to a republic, shaping Germany’s political landscape for years to come.
