Norton Simon

Norton Simon was an American businessman and art collector known for his significant contributions to the fields of both business and art. He was the co-founder of the Norton Simon Inc. company, which grew into a major player in the food and beverage industry. After retiring, he turned his focus to art, amassing a vast collection of European and Asian masterpieces. In 1975, he founded the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California, which houses a renowned collection of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts, making it a key cultural institution that promotes appreciation of the arts.
