North Vietnamese Army (NVA)
The North Vietnamese Army (NVA), officially known as the People's Army of Vietnam, was the military force of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Established to fight against South Vietnam and its allies, including the United States, the NVA was well-trained, highly disciplined, and played a key role in Vietnam's reunification. It operated in coordination with the communist Viet Cong in the South, engaging in guerrilla tactics, conventional battles, and prolonged warfare. The NVA aimed to reunify Vietnam under communist control, and its perseverance and strategic prowess were crucial in the eventual victory in 1975.
