North Vietnam Army

The North Vietnamese Army (NVA), also known as the People's Army of Vietnam, was the military force of North Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It was organized and trained by the Vietnamese government to unify Vietnam under communist control. The NVA fought against South Vietnam and its allies, including the United States, using conventional military tactics and guerrilla warfare. They received support from the Soviet Union and China. The NVA played a crucial role in the eventual victory of North Vietnam in 1975, leading to the reunification of Vietnam under a communist government.
