Non-alignment Movement

The Non-Alignment Movement is an international group formed during the Cold War that aimed for countries to avoid aligning with either of the two main power blocs—led by the United States and the Soviet Union—so they could maintain independence in their foreign policies. Its members, mostly newly independent nations, sought peace, sovereignty, and cooperation without being drawn into the conflict between these superpowers.
