Nofollow Links

Nofollow links are a type of hyperlink that instruct search engines not to pass their ranking authority or "vote" of confidence to the linked website. Essentially, when a website uses a nofollow link, it's saying, "I’m linking to this page, but I’m not endorsing it for search rankings." This helps control spam and maintain the integrity of search results. For example, comments on a blog might include nofollow links to prevent spammy links from affecting search standings. Overall, nofollow links still direct users to other pages, but they don’t influence search engine rankings.
