NLF (National Liberation Front)

The National Liberation Front (NLF) was a political and military organization in Vietnam that fought against foreign influence and internal oppression during the Vietnam War. It was mainly composed of South Vietnamese communists and nationalist activists who aimed to unify Vietnam under a communist government. Supported by North Vietnam, the NLF carried out guerrilla warfare, political activities, and mobilization efforts. It played a central role in the conflict, symbolizing resistance against South Vietnam's government and its allies, ultimately leading to the reunification of Vietnam in 1975 under communist control.
