Nine worlds
The Nine Worlds originate from Norse mythology, representing different realms inhabited by gods, humans, giants, and other beings. These worlds are connected by the mighty tree Yggdrasil, which acts as a cosmic center. Examples include Asgard, home of the gods; Midgard, Earth where humans live; Jotunheim, land of giants; and Hel, the realm of the dead. These worlds illustrate a complex cosmology, showing the interconnected nature of existence, with each realm having its own inhabitants, environment, and significance within Norse mythic tradition.
