Born in 1930, she initially gained fame for her "Nanas," large, colorful representations of women, which embody joy and vitality. Saint Phalle also created the Tarot Garden in Italy, a whimsical park filled with larger-than-life sculptures inspired by tarot cards. Her work often combined art with activism, addressing themes of gender, mental health, and social issues. Saint Phalle's unique style and bold expressions make her an influential figure in contemporary art. She passed away in 2002.
