
Nihad Awad
Nihad Awad is a prominent American civil rights activist and the co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization that advocates for the rights of Muslims in the United States. Born in Palestine, he moved to the U.S. in the 1970s. Under his leadership, CAIR works to combat discrimination, promote a better understanding of Islam, and foster interfaith dialogue.
