Nguyễn Huệ

Nguyễn Huệ was a prominent Vietnamese leader and military commander in the late 18th century, known for his role in unifying Vietnam under the Tây Sơn dynasty. Born in 1753, he led successful campaigns against both regional rivals and foreign forces, notably defeating the Qing Dynasty’s invasion in 1789. His strategic brilliance earned him the title Emperor Quang Trung. Nguyễn Huệ is remembered as a national hero who promoted independence, stability, and resilience, profoundly shaping Vietnam’s history and national identity.
