Neptune

Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet from the Sun in our solar system. It is a gas giant, composed mostly of hydrogen, helium, and ice-like materials such as water, ammonia, and methane. Neptune is about four times the size of Earth, with a deep blue color caused by methane in its atmosphere. It has strong winds, storms, and a faint ring system. Because of its great distance from the Sun, Neptune experiences extremely cold temperatures, averaging around -200°C (-328°F). It also has a system of moons, with Triton being the largest, which orbits the planet in a unique retrograde motion.
