Nebulizer treatments

A nebulizer is a medical device that turns liquid medication into a fine mist, making it easier to inhale into the lungs. It's commonly used to treat respiratory conditions like asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). During a nebulizer treatment, the patient breathes in the mist through a mouthpiece or mask, allowing the medication to directly reach the airways. This helps relieve symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath by opening the air passages, reducing inflammation, and delivering medication more effectively than oral treatments. Treatments typically last about 10-15 minutes.
