Naturalization Process
Naturalization is the process by which a foreign citizen becomes a legal citizen of a country. In the United States, it involves several steps: first, an individual must meet residency and other eligibility requirements. Next, they submit an application and pay a fee. Then, they undergo a background check and an interview, which includes civics and English tests. If successful, they take an oath of allegiance, officially becoming a citizen. This process allows immigrants to fully participate in civic life, including voting and accessing certain rights and benefits.
